Timothy Sullivan, President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Tim is a successful entrepreneur with a 20-year track record of building emerging technology companies. Most recently, he founded Fidelis Security Systems, a recognized pioneer in extrusion prevention technology, and was a key player in the development of the data leakage prevention (DLP) market. Having been personally responsible for all initial customer sales, Tim led the company from pre-revenue through to its first seven-figure deals, the injection of $26 million in venture financing, and the establishment of strategic business alliances with technology leaders such as IBM.
Prior to Fidelis, Tim was Executive Vice President of InforMax, Inc., a high-growth bioinformatics software company, and was instrumental in raising $100 million in venture capital and strategic investment, culminating in the company’s initial public offering. He has also held sales and marketing leadership roles at Manugistics and Mercator Software, formerly TSI International Software, and worked as a management consultant with EDS, Andersen Consulting, and Booz Allen & Hamilton. Tim is a former U.S. Marine Corps Infantry Platoon Commander, and holds a BA and MBA from Columbia University.
Randy Caldejon, Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Randy is a co-founder of nPulse Technologies and serves as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). With over 20 years of leadership, Randy guides the company’s vision and strategic direction in areas of innovation and product development. Prior to starting nPulse Technologies, Randy was VP of Government Security Solutions at Endace Systems. He is a graduate from University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science; and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) with a Master’s in Computer & Systems Engineering. Peter Shaw, Vice President
Peter, co-founder, joins nPulse from Endace Systems where he was VP of Marketing and Product Management. Peter has held senior executive positions in the computer, telecommunications, networking and security markets, including many years with Hewlett Packard and Agilent Technologies in international sales and marketing leadership roles in the US, Europe and Australia. Prior to Endace, Peter was VP of Product Strategy for Allied Telesyn, a global manufacturer of switches and routers. Peter has a degree in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of Auckland, and has also completed post-graduate business studies programs in the US. (ps[@]npulsetech.com)
Bill Cantrell, VP of Federal & Partner Sales
Bill joined nPulse in 2011, bringing 20 years of experience at the forefront of the network security, routing and telecommunications sectors. His background includes leadership positions in sales, customer services and systems engineering with innovative companies such as Avici, Fore Systems, Dynatech Communications, and DeepNines Technologies. Most recently, he held several positions at Endace where as VP of Americas he built out the US presence and a led a period of 40% revenue growth. Bill also served five years in the US Air Force’s Communications Command, where he was translator for US and NATO forces while stationed in Southern Italy. Rick Truitt, VP of Financial & Commercial Sales
Rick’s experience spans 25 years in networking and technology markets, including senior executive roles in solution sales, professional services and general management. Prior to joining nPulse in 2011, Rick held VP roles with Endace, Premiere Global Services and Equant. Under Rick’s leadership, Endace’s business in the financial sector rapidly grew from under $1M to over $12M. He also worked with Dynatech Communications, S.W.I.F.T. and the US State Department. Rick started his career in the United States Navy, Defense Intelligence Agency, Pentagon, and he holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Columbia Southern University. (rt[@]npulsetech.com)
Chris Fauerbach, VP of Software Development
Chris comes to nPulse with over a decade of software development and application integration. His areas of expertise and passion include data mining, analysis, reporting, and visualization. Chris leads the product development of the HammerHead analysis and reporting engine. Chris holds an MS in Information Technology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University as well as a BS in Computer Science from James Madison University. (cf[@]npulsetech.com)
Dennis Edwards, VP of Research & Development
Dennis brings over two decades of experience in research and development of distributed and high performance systems to nPulse. He has developed theoretical and practical solutions to complex problems posed by government agencies as well as international companies. Dennis holds three degrees in Computer Science: Ph.D. from William and Mary and B.S. and M.S. from the University of Southern Mississippi. Dennis has a broad background spanning computer architecture, operating systems, networking, computer security, and software engineering.
